 Exchanging Phone Numbers Don't do it. Exchanging never works. If a guy asks me for my phone number and then says "Here's mine," I know he's never going to call. I don't know if it's because when you each have the other's number you wait around for the other one to make the effort or what. But if someone asks for your phone number give it to them, but don't ask for their number back. Its risky, but you're much more likely to get a phone call. After all they know that the ball is entirely in their court. Alternatively, if you ask for a phone number, don't offer yours back.
