-> Bio / Comments:	Avery has been in the music industry for ten years. As a freshman in college he pioneered the first house music radio show at St. Maryís College. While finishing college, he held two more radio shows at University of MD (one hip-hop and one house). He co-hosted/DJíd a 4-hour Internet radio show for 2 years on www.capitolvibes.com and www.districtsoul.com. Throughout his radio experience, he has guest DJíd and held residencies at several of the clubs in Washington, DC. During this time he has spun along side such legends as 95 North, Pope & Oji, Josh Wink, Sam Burns, Derrick Carter, & Kevin Yost. Avery has played nationally in cities such as Chicago & Miami with DJs such as Mark Farina, DJ Heather, DJ V, Darrell Woodson, and Greg Norwood. In 2000, he co-founded District Soul and Districtsoul.com (DCs #1 resource for house music and community). Avery has also won such awards as top mixtape in URB magazine, runner up in the first Annual URB mix contest in the dance and hip-hop categories, as well as runner up in the annual SpeedGarage.com mix contest. He works at DCís number one house music store, DJ Hut. Currently, Avery is working in the District Soul and Sahara Records Studios on his first EPs.
