Starting as a one-day festival in California in 2004, Rock the Bells has become the premier international touring hip-hop extravaganza. Aside from headliners like Queensbridge hero Nas, reggae mic-master Damian Marley, and Philly’s top hip-hop band The Roots, the festival boasts close to 30 acts over 2 stages, booths and attractions, and a whole day of hot hip-hop. Rock the Bells is returning to Merriweather this summer after its blowout first year at the Pavilion in 2008.
